The DHL relay is the largest amateur run in all of Europe with more the 125.000 runners. Time and place

The DHL relay 2016 takes place over 5 days, from Monday to Friday in the last week of August and start of September. The relay begins every day at 6 PM at Fælledparken (see map).

Copenhagen University (KU) officially takes part in the event Friday September 2nd.


Start and finish

Start and finish areas are in the middle of Fælledparken. (see detailed map)

Both are very close to Blok 2, where we are sitting.

Rules

The rules are as follows:

   * A team consist of 5 people
   * Each person runs 5 km in Fælledparken (in some chosen relay order)

Food and drinks

The university usually donates some fruit, organic beer and some grilled sausages. You are as always welcome to bring more food and drinks yourself. Bringing your own grill is allowed, but the university will bring several big ones.

In 2016 KU will again provide:

  • Beer from Nørrebro Bryghus
  • Fruit
  • Organic chocolate milk from Øllingegård
  • Chili con/sin carne

(All the above served in Blok 2)

Tent and T-shirts

We will stay in Blok 2 (Tent). See map under 'Start and Finish'.

Participants will NOT receive a T-shirt this year! (KU is trying to save money).

Interested people are suggested to sign up on this page or send an email to jensªbinf.ku.dk. We can make teams as people sign up - 2 teams have been registered in advance. If you have suggestions for teams you can of course write that as well.
